i also would have liked some comments on the blogging... too much, too little... not indepth enough...

i think having a discussion board might be a little easier... i really felt as though i was running all around to check out other peoples blogs... i guess discussion boards are not as web 2.0 as blogs...

i don't see why anonymous blogging is necessary... i think we should know our classmates and their ideas... if this were an inclass-class and our classmates spoke up, we'd see them and hear them...

I agree, feedback on blogging would be a good idea. I don't know about blogging anonymously - I thought it was nice to be able to put a few faces to names (for the people I've met). But others' mileage may vary...

I would have appreciated some screencasts -for RSS tools especially. Given the very different starting experiences (some of us were newbies while others had some /lots of experience with some of the tools) of those in the course, I think the delivery was great. Chats might be a good idea, but logistically might be a problem - although I do note that some of the other on-line courses did have one required real-time meeting. Thanks for the great learning experience!

I agree that feedbacks on our blog postings would have been helpful as well, but looking at everyone else's blogs and getting a feel for what to do was useful for me. I think that having podcasts availible for readings would have been a really interesting option considering the nature of the course. Although I am not an auditory learner, having the option to try out one of the tools we are studying in a functional way would have been a great learning experience.
Thanks for the great course.

Amanda,

I really like the idea of providing some feedback on our blogging endeavors halfway through the course! It would have been nice to know if we needed to "step it up" or continue as usual. All of your other ideas sound like good ones. Some indication as to how much we should contribute to the delicious tag would have been great too.

All in all, it's been a fabulous course and a wonderful learning experience with a well-rounded balance between theory and practice. Thanks for your encouraging blog comments, and your extremely hard work in preparing and facilitating the course! Happy Holidays!
